High schools give students a safe, structured way to do real service: classes, service opportunities, hour submissions approved by staff, and reporting for the school or district.

No. Individual accounts are free and stay free. Organizations choose a plan when they need publishing, recruiting, or team tools.
You need to be at least 13. Your exact date of birth is private — it is only used to confirm your age and is never shown to anyone.
Only what you choose. Your privacy settings control whether your contributions and location are visible, and you can change them at any time from your profile.
An organization applies with its details and supporting evidence. Our review team checks the application, and only an approved organization can publish projects and collect support.
Yes — and for most projects that is the most useful thing you can do. Projects list the specific skills and roles they need, and you can request to join or volunteer for a single event.
Your data stays yours. You can export it, review our legal documents, and delete your account at any time from your profile.
